Fluid Pressure Sensor/Switch: Service and Repair

Fig. 9 Line Pressure Sensor:

1. Raise and support vehicle.
2. Remove underbody splash shield.
3. Remove line pressure sensor attaching screws, then the sensor, Fig. 9.
4. Lower vehicle.
5. Remove windshield washer bottle.

6. Disconnect line pressure sensor harness (3) from TCU, Fig. 2, then remove sensor from under vehicle.
7. Reverse procedure to install, coating new sensor O-ring with transmission fluid prior to installation. Ensure sensor harness is clear of hot or moving components.
