Front Door Panel: Service and Repair

1. Lower the window.
2. Disconnect the battery negative cable, if equipped with power options.

Removing Lock Button:

3. Remove the lock button by depressing locking tab and lifting the button.

Removing Plastic Cover:

4. Remove the plastic cover by prying up the rear of the cover. Once the rear of the cover is free, move the cover to the rear.

Removing Door Handle Screws:

5. Remove the screws holding the inside door handle to the door.
6. Lift the door handle/switch up and out of the door.
7. Remove the window regulator handle, if equipped.
8. Remove screws holding trim panel to door.

Removing Mirror Bezel:

9. Remove mirror bezel.

Removing Trim Panel:

Trim Panel Attaching Locations:

10. Remove the door trim panel. Use a panel re mover tool and pry the panel loose from the door inner panel. Lift the panel off of the door.
11. Remove the plastic door liner (water dam) from the inner panel.
12. To install, reverse the above procedure.
