SYMPTOM/CONDITION
The neutral start relay on some 1989 Medallions may not be properly secured to the radiator support. Whenever you service a 1989 Medallion, the following procedure should be performed.
DIAGNOSIS
Inspect the relay (see Figure 1). If the relay is secured with a nylon tie strap no further repairs are necessary. If the relay is not secured, perform the following procedure.

PROCEDURE
This repair involves securing the relay to the radiator support with a nylon tie strap.
1. Locate the hole in the radiator support (see Figure 1) and install the tie strap through the hole and around the relay. Tighten the strap to secure the relay.
POLICY: Reimbursable within the provisions of the warranty.
