Fig. 15 Crankshaft Sprocket, Washer & Key:
1. Remove timing belt, refer to TIMING BELT.
2. Position tool Nos. B.Vi. 28.01 and Rou. 15.01 or equivalents to crankshaft sprocket washer. Position jaws of tool behind washer, then tighten tool until washer stops at crankshaft key. Remove tools after washer contacts key.
3. Reinstall tool, with jaws of tool positioned between crankshaft sprocket and washer.
4. Tighten tool until crankshaft sprocket can be removed, then remove tool, sprocket (B) and key (C), Fig. 15.
5. Remove washer (D) from crankshaft, Fig. 15.
6. When installing crankshaft sprocket, the chamfered side of the sprocket should face the washer.
