Voltage Signal: Description and Operation

The battery usually supplies a nominal voltage of approximately 12 volts. However, depending on different operating conditions, this voltage may vary from 8 to 16 volts. This variation affects the time the injectors remain open in that the open time increases as battery voltage falls. To compensate for this change, the battery voltage signal corrects the actual injection time to correspond to battery voltage.
