Forward Delay Valve, Reverse Delay Valve & Two Way Delay

1. Apply a constant vacuum of 10 inches Hg to colored side of delay valve.
2. Connect one end of a 24 inch piece of vacuum hose to a vacuum gauge and other end to white side of valve to check reverse delay or colored side to check forward delay.
3. Observe time in seconds for gauge to move from 0 to 8 inches Hg with a constant 10 inches Hg vacuum applied. Refer to chart in Figs. 51 thru 56 for minimum and maximum time for each valve to reach 8 inches Hg.
4. Replace valve if time limits are not within specifications listed.
