INSPECTION

Inspect the exhaust manifold for cracks.

Inspect the mating surface of the exhaust manifold for flatness with a straight edge. The exhaust manifold gasket surface must be flat and within 0.375 mm (0.0147 in.) around each port opening and 0.75 mm (0.0295 in.) overall.
