Driver Air Bag - Installation

INSTALLATION





1. Connect horn switch (2) and DAB (6) wiring connectors to the DAB (1). Make airbag connection by pressing straight in on the connector. The connector should be fully seated to assure positive connection.

WARNING: Check that the wires are not pinched between airbag and steering wheel during installation.

2. Install the three airbag screws (5) and tighten to 12 Nm (105 in. lbs.).

WARNING: Do not connect the battery negative cable Component Tests and General Diagnostics . Serious or fatal injury may result if the system test is not performed first.

3. Place battery access cover into place and install four bolts.
4. Close deck lid.
