VTSS LAMP ON STEADY DURING ARMING

CHECK THE BCM FOR DTCS
1. Ensure hood and decklid are closed.
2. With the scan tool check the following:
3. Read the BCM for any ignition switch, door entry switch or key cylinder switch DTCs.
4. In Inputs/Outputs, check that the hood ajar and trunk ajar switch states display open with the hood and decklid closed.

Were there any problems found?

Yes

- Refer to the Service Information.
- Perform the VTSS VERIFICATION TEST. VTSS Verification Test

No

- Inspect the related wiring harness and switches for a possible intermittent condition. Look for any chafed, pierced, pinched or partially broken wires.
