B223B-00-VEHICLE CONFIGURATION MISMATCH



- When Monitored:
During a Keyless Go event.

- Set Condition:
This Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) sets when a valid configuration message was not received within 10 seconds from the ignition transition to the run position.





1. DETERMINE ACTIVE OR STORED DTC

NOTE: Be sure the battery is fully charged before proceeding.

1. Using the FOBIK, turn the ignition on.
2. Using the scan tool, record and erase the DTCs.
3. With the scan tool, select: PEM, More Options and System Tests.
4. Perform the PEM LF Antenna Verification Tests.
5. With the scan tool, read the DTCs.

Is the DTC active or stored?

PEM - ACTIVE DTC

- Replace the Passive Entry Module.
- Perform the BODY VERIFICATION TEST. Body Verification Test.

PEM - STORED DTC

- Go To 2

2. STORED DTC
1. Using the scan tool, record and erase all DTCs from the Passive Entry Module.
2. If any ACTIVE codes are present they must be resolved before diagnosing any stored codes.
3. The following additional checks may assist you in identifying a possible intermittent problem.
4. Reconnect any disconnected components and harness connectors.
5. Wiggle the wiring harness and connectors of the PEM circuit or component.
6. In the previous steps you have attempted to recreate the conditions responsible for setting this DTC active.
7. Perform the PEM LF Antenna Verification Tests.
8. With the scan tool, read the DTCs.

Did this DTC return as ACTIVE?

Yes

- Locate, repair or replace the connector or wiring as necessary.
- Perform the BODY VERIFICATION TEST. Body Verification Test.

No

- No problem found at this time.
- Perform the BODY VERIFICATION TEST. Body Verification Test.
