Starter - Installation

INSTALLATION






NOTE: Inspect the condition of the flywheel. Check for missing or damaged teeth, repair as necessary.

1. Install starter (4) and bolts (5). Tighten to 55 Nm (40.5 ft. lbs.)
2. Install engine harness B+ cable (3), B+ battery cable (2) and nut (1) to the starter (4). Tighten to 14 Nm (124 in. lbs.).
3. Connect solenoid electrical connector (6).





4. Connect negative battery cable. Tighten to 10 Nm (90 in. lbs.)
