Swinging Oil Pick - Up

SWINGING OIL PICK-UP

1. Position swinging oil pick up in place.
2. Hand tighten bolts 1 through 4.

3. Install new O-rings (1) on both ends of the flanged oil pick up tube (2).
4. Lubricate O-rings with clean engine oil.

5. Position flanged oil pick up tube (2) into front cover and swinging pick up assembly.
6. Make sure that the O-rings are seated into place. Install fasteners (1,3) and hand tighten.

7. Tighten fasteners 1 - 4 to 28 Nm (248 in. lbs.).

8. Tighten flanged oil pick up tube fasteners (1,3) to 28 Nm (248 in. lbs.).

NOTE: Make sure the swinging pick up pivots freely, loosen all the bolts and re-torque them.

9. Install oil pan Engine Oil Pan - Installation.
