Connecting Rod: Description and Operation

DESCRIPTION

The pistons are made of cast aluminum. Three piston rings are used; two compression and one three-piece oil control ring. The piston has a floating wrist pin. The connecting rods fractured cap design connecting rod that can not be repaired. The connecting rod also contains a wrist pin bushing. The piston and connecting rod are serviced as an assembly.
