Seat Back - Removal

REMOVAL





1. Open deck lid.
2. Remove four bolts to battery compartment cover and remove cover.
3. Disconnect and isolate the battery negative cable.

WARNING: Wait two minutes for the system reserve capacitor to discharge before servicing any airbag components. Failure to do this may result in serious or fatal injury.

4. Remove the seat. Seat - Removal
5. Remove the screw and remove the recliner handle.





6. Remove the bolts (two on each side) (2) attaching the recliners (3) to the seat cushion on both sides of seat.
7. Disconnect the recliner cable (5) on both sides of the recliner due to the cable being routed underneath the seat cushion.
8. Separate seat back from lower seat.
