Hood Hinge - Installation

INSTALLATION





1. Position hinge on vehicle and fit to the molded features using the marks made previously for reference.
2. Install nuts attaching hinge to hood 12 Nm (9 ft. lbs.).
3. Install bolts attaching hinge to body and tighten to 28 Nm (21 ft. lbs.).
4. Close the hood and verify the proper fit and tighten the rear body bolts to 28 Nm (21 ft. lbs.).
5. Open the hood and tighten the front bolts to 28 Nm (21 ft. lbs.).
6. Install hood hinge support cylinder.
