B2212-OCCUPANT CLASSIFICATION MODULE INTERNAL
Theory of Operation
When powered, the Occupant Classification Module (OCM) performs an internal self test. The repair of this fault condition does not involve any external circuitry and centers on verifying the integrity of the module's internal circuitry and software validity.
- When Monitored:
When powered, the IGN status is RUN or signal not available, and during the OCS Verification Test.
- Set Condition:
This DTC will set if the module detects an internal failure.
Always perform the Pre-Diagnostic Troubleshooting procedure before proceeding. Restraints System Pre-Diagnostic Procedure.

NOTE: Ensure that the battery is fully charged.
Repair
- Replace the OCM.
- Perform the the OCM REZERO. Testing and Inspection.
