NOTE: Check connectors. Clean and repair as necessary.

3. Measure the total resistance of the harness and Cushion and Seat Back Heater Elements between the (P187) Left Seat Heater B(+) Driver circuit and the (Z912) Ground circuit at the C313 in-line harness connector (seat side).

Is the total resistance 2.5 ohms + or - 0.5 ohms?

Yes

- Go To 3

No

- Go To 5

3. CHECK (Z912) GROUND CIRCUIT FOR AN OPEN

1. Measure the resistance of the (Z912) Ground circuit between ground and the C313 in-line harness connector (harness side).

Is the resistance below 5.0 ohms?

Yes

- Go To 4

No

- Repair the (Z912) Ground circuit for an open.
- Perform BODY VERIFICATION TEST Body Verification Test.

4. CHECK (P187) LEFT SEAT HEATER B(+) DRIVER CIRCUIT FOR AN OPEN IN BODY HARNESS

1. Disconnect the HSM connector.

NOTE: Check connectors. Clean and repair as necessary.

2. Measure the resistance of the (P187) Left Seat Heater B(+) Driver circuit between the C313 in-line harness connector (harness side) and the HSM connector.
