RIGHT EXHAUST MANIFOLD





NOTE: Care must be taken to protect the cylinder head covers and the intake manifolds powder coating from scrapes and abrasions.

1. Open trunk lid. Remove battery cover. Disconnect negative battery cable (1).




2. Raise vehicle on hoist.
3. Disconnect oxygen sensor electrical (3).
4. Remove oxygen sensor.




5. Loosen and remove V-Band clamp (1) from exhaust pipe to exhaust manifold connection and discard.

NOTE: Do not reuse V-Band clamp.

6. Slide exhaust pipe off of the exhaust manifold.
7. Lower vehicle.




8. Remove right windshield wiper arm.
9. Remove coolant reservoir retaining bolts and reposition reservoir.
10. Remove HVAC air inlet duct (1).




11. Remove air cleaner housing (1)Air Cleaner Housing - Removal.




12. Remove cylinder head cover to prevent paint damageCylinder Head Cover - Removal.




13. Remove front suspension cross tie (1).




14. Using an appropriate jack, raise engine and support engine.
15. Remove exhaust manifold (4) and gasket (1).
