Hood Ajar Switch - Installation

INSTALLATION





1. Place the switch (2) into the bracket hole and firmly push down to engage the retaining tangs.
2. Connect the wire harness connector (1) to the hood ajar switch (2).

NOTE: NEW SWITCH - The switch will be adjusted when the hood is closed. The switch can only be adjusted once.

NOTE: OLD SWITCH - The switch should be adjusted from prior use. If adjustment is not correct then a new switch must be installed and the self adjustment will take place upon the first hood closure.
