5E-IOD WAKEUP CLUSTER SHORT TO VOLTAGE

- When Monitored:
With the ignition in all positions.
- Set Condition:
The BCM output is active and detects that the Instrument Cluster Wake Up circuit is shorted high for at least 125 milliseconds.
Diagnostic Test
1. (G150) INSTRUMENT CLUSTER WAKE UP SENSE CIRCUIT SHORT TO VOLTAGE
Turn the ignition off.
Disconnect the BCM C2 harness connector.
Disconnect the Instrument Cluster C1 harness connector.
Turn the ignition on.
Measure the voltage between the (G150) Instrument Cluster Wake Up Sense circuit and ground.
Is there any voltage present?
Yes
- Repair the (G150) Instrument Cluster Wake Up Sense circuit for a short to voltage.
- Perform BODY VERIFICATION TEST - VER 1. Body Verification Test
No
- Go To2
2. BODY CONTROL MODULE
Turn the ignition off.
Reconnect the BCM C2 harness connector.
Measure the voltage between the (G150) Instrument Cluster Wake Up Sense circuit and ground.
Is the voltage above 5.0 volts?
Yes
- Replace the Instrument Cluster.
- Perform BODY VERIFICATION TEST - VER 1. Body Verification Test
No
- Replace and program the Body Control Module.
- Perform BODY VERIFICATION TEST - VER 1. Body Verification Test
