B1B91-DRIVER SEAT TRACK POSITION SENSOR CONFIGURATION MISMATCH

For a complete wiring diagram Consult Diagrams/Electrical.

Theory of Operation

When powered, the Occupant Classification module (OCM) sends a test current to the Driver Seat Track Position Sensors terminals. During this test, the sensors discovered are checked for agreement with the pre-programmed configuration of components assigned to the module.

- When Monitored:
The OCM checks for the presence of Driver Seat Track Position Sensor circuits once at every power up, during the initialization process.

- Set Condition:
This DTC sets when the OCM is not configured for a Driver Seat Track Position Sensor and the OCM detects a valid Driver Seat Track Position Sensor present.

Always perform the Pre-Diagnostic Troubleshooting procedure before proceeding. Restraints System Pre-Diagnostic Procedure.
