Wiper Switch Test

Perform the diagnosis for the wiper and/or washer systems as described in Wipers/Washers before testing the multi-function switch. Refer to the appropriate wiring information.
1. Disconnect and isolate the battery jump start attachment.
2. Disconnect the multi-function switch connector. Refer to Electrical, Lamps/Lighting - Exterior, Multi-Funtion Switch, Removal, and Installation.

3. Using an ohmmeter, perform the switch continuity checks at the switch terminals as shown in the MULTI-FUNCTION SWITCH CONTINUITY test table.
4. If the switch fails any of the continuity checks, replace the faulty switch.
