Hood Ajar Switch

REMOVAL
The Hood Ajar Switch is located near the right (passenger side) hood latch, near the right headlamp (Fig. 2).
1. Disconnect and isolate negative battery cable.
2. Open hood.
3. Disconnect the switch wire connector.
4. Gently pull up while rocking the switch from the mounting bracket (Fig. 2).
5. Remove switch from vehicle.

INSTALLATION
1. Push the switch into the bracket.
2. Connect the wire harness connector.
3. Connect the battery negative cable.
