Evaporator Temperature Sensor / Switch: Service and Repair

A/C EVAPORATOR PROBE

REMOVAL
1. Remove and isolate the battery negative cable.
2. Recover the refrigerant from the HVAC system.
3. Remove the HVAC housing from the vehicle.
4. Disassemble the HVAC housing.

5. Remove the evaporator temperature sensor from the evaporator.

6. Remove the evaporator temperature sensor from the HVAC housing.

INSTALLATION
1. Install the evaporator temperature sensor to the HVAC housing.
2. Install the evaporator temperature sensor to the evaporator.
3. Assemble the HVAC housing.
4. Install the HVAC housing to the vehicle.
5. Reinstall the battery negative cable to the battery.
6. Evacuate the refrigerant system.
7. Recharge the refrigerant system.
