Headlamp: Service and Repair

REMOVAL
The headlamp unit contains the park/turn signal, low and high-beam lamps. When a headlamp unit is replaced, the headlamp alignment must be adjusted (Refer to ELECTRICAL/LAMPS/LIGHTING - EXTERIOR/HEADLAMP UNIT - STANDARD PROCEDURE).

1. Disconnect and isolate the battery negative cable.
2. Remove front bumper fascia to gain access to bottom of headlamp unit.

3. Remove nuts holding headlamp unit to radiator support panel.
4. Remove nut holding headlamp unit to the front frame rail bracket.
5. Disengage wire connector from back of headlamp unit.
6. Separate headlamp unit from vehicle.

INSTALLATION
The headlamp unit contains the park/turn signal, low and high-beam lamps. When a headlamp unit is replaced, the headlamp unit alignment must be adjusted (Refer to ELECTRICAL/LAMPS/LIGHTING - EXTERIOR/HEADLAMP - STANDARD PROCEDURE).
1. Position headlamp unit to vehicle.
2. Engage wire connector to back of headlamp unit.
3. Install nut holding headlamp unit to front frame rail bracket.
4. Install nuts holding headlamp unit to radiator support panel.
5. Install front bumper fascia..
6. Connect the battery negative cable.
