Backup Lamp: Service and Repair
REMOVAL1. Disconnect and isolate the battery negative cable.
2. Remove trunk lining as necessary to gain access to the trunk pan behind the turn and back-up lamp.
3. Remove plugs covering the access holes in the trunk pan for the turn and back-up lamp.

4. Remove plastic seal nuts attaching the turn and back-up lamp to the tail lamp closure panel through the access holes (Fig. 28).
CAUTION: Do not drop the plastic seal nuts between the tail lamp closure panel and the trunk pan or the tail lamp closure panel will need to be removed.
5. Remove the turn and back-up lamp from the tail lamp closure panel.
6. Remove lamp sockets from the lamp housing.
7. Remove the turn and back-up lamp from the vehicle.
INSTALLATION
1. Position lamp to vehicle.
2. Install the lamp sockets in the lamp housing.
3. Position turn signal and back-up lamp in the tail lamp closure panel.
4. Install plastic seal nuts to attach turn signal and back-up lamp to tail lamp closure panel.
5. Install plugs to cover the access holes in the trunk pan for the turn and back-up lamp.
6. Install the trunk lining.
7. Connect the battery negative cable.
