Power Mirror Switch: Service and Repair

REMOVAL
1. Open hood.
2. Remove the IOD fuse in the PDC.
3. Using a trim stick (special tool # C-4755), gently pry out center instrument panel trim bezel and remove from vehicle.
4. Remove two screws retaining radio to instrument panel.
5. Pull out radio and remove the three connectors (wire harness, antenna, and DIN) and remove radio.
6. Loosen retaining ring to power mirror switch and remove.
7. Push switch forward into instrument panel and pull out into the radio cavity.
8. Pull the switch assembly out of instrument panel to expose the connector.

Power Mirror Switch:

9. Disconnect the power mirror switch connector and remove from vehicle.

INSTALLATION
1. Connect the power mirror switch to the wire harness.
2. Feed the switch and harness into the instrument panel.
3. Position the switch in the instrument panel.
4. Install the power mirror switch retaining ring.
5. Connect the three wire harness connectors on the back of the radio.
6. Position the radio in the instrument panel.
7. Install the two radio retaining screws.
8. Install the center trim bezel.
9. Install the IOD fuse in the PDC.
