Front Door Trim Panel

DOOR TRIM PANEL

REMOVAL

1. Remove screw at inside door handle.
2. Remove screws attaching speaker and grille to trim panel.
3. Remove speaker from door trim panel.
4. Disconnect speaker wiring connector from door wiring harness.
5. Remove door speaker from vehicle.

6. Remove screws attaching the trim panel to the inner door panel through the speaker opening (Fig. 12).
7. Remove screw attaching front of trim panel to the inner door panel.
8. Remove screws attaching the trim panel to the bottom of the door.
9. Pull outward at bottom of trim panel and disengage upper edge of the trim panel from inner belt weatherstrip.
10. Disconnect tweeter wiring connector from door wiring harness.
11. Disconnect inside door handle wiring connector from the door wiring harness.
12. Remove trim panel from door.

INSTALLATION

1. Position trim panel to door.
2. Connect inside door handle wiring connector to the door wiring harness.
3. Connect tweeter wiring connector to the door wiring harness.
4. Holding the bottom of the trim panel out from the door, connect the upper edge of trim panel to the inner belt weatherstrip.
5. Install screws attaching trim panel to bottom of the door.
6. Install screw attaching front of trim panel to inner door panel.
7. Install screws attaching the trim panel to the inner door panel through the speaker opening.
8. Connect speaker wiring connector to door wiring harness.
9. Position speaker in door trim panel.
10. Install screws attaching the speaker and grille to the trim panel.
11. Install inside door handle bezel screw.
