Liftgate Weatherstrip

LIFTGATE WEATHERSTRIP

REMOVAL

1. Release liftgate latch and open liftgate.

2. Pull upward on weatherstrip at seam to remove weatherstrip from roof panel flange (Fig. 5).
3. Remove weatherstrip from vehicle.

INSTALLATION

1. Locate center of weatherstrip and roof panel flange.
2. Push center point of weatherstrip retainer channel over roof panel flange at the center of the liftgate opening.
3. Thread weatherstrip behind hinges at each side of liftgate opening.
4. Push weatherstrip onto roof panel flange around rest of liftgate opening. Do not stretch weatherstrip during installation.
5. Join ends of weatherstrip together at rear center of liftgate opening.
