DECKLID LATCH

REMOVAL

1. Using a suitable drill with a 3 mm (0.125 in.) drill bit, remove pop rivets holding release remote to decklid.

2. Remove remote from decklid (Fig. 3).
3. Using a scribe, lightly mark the outline of the latch on decklid to assist installation.
4. Remove bolts attaching latch to decklid.
5. Remove latch from vehicle.

INSTALLATION

1. Position latch to vehicle.
2. Loosely install bolts attaching latch to decklid.
3. Using previously made marks, align decklid latch to outline on decklid.
4. Tighten bolts attaching decklid latch to decklid.
5. Install remote to decklid.
6. Install pop rivets attaching release remote to decklid.
