Keyless Entry Transmitter Battery: Description and Operation

BATTERY
The transmitter has a 3 volt battery; which can be removed and replaced without special tools. The battery is available at local retail stores. Recommended battery is Panasonic CR 2032 or equivalent. Battery life is about five years.
