Wiper Motor: Service and Repair
REMOVAL1. Open hood assembly.

2. Remove windshield wiper arms.

3. Remove cowl trim pane.
4. Remove hoses from hose connectors.
Wiper Motor:
5. Remove three motor mounting screws.
6. Disconnect motor wiring connector.
7. Remove motor cover and motor.
INSTALLATION
1. Connect motor wiring connector.
2. Align motor to cowl, install three motor mounting screws. Tighten motor mounting screws 7 to 8 Nm (60 to 70 in. lbs) torque.
3. Install motor cover.
4. Install washer hoses to hose connector.
5. Install cowl trim panel.
6. Install windshield wiper arm and blade assembly). Tighten the nut to 9.8 to 13.7 Nm (86.7 to 121.3 in. lbs.). Before installing the wiper arm and blade, turn wiper motors ON, then turn wiper switch OFF so that the wiper motors will stop in the park position.
