Radiator Drain Plug: Service and Repair

REMOVAL

WARNING: DO NOT REMOVE THE RADIATOR DRAIN PLUG WITH THE SYSTEM HOT OR UNDER PRESSURE BECAUSE SERIOUS BURNS FROM COOLANT CAN OCCUR.





1. Remove the drain plug from the radiator. The drain plug is located on the lower left side of the radiator.

INSTALLATION
1. Install the drain plug and tighten to 13 Nm (85 inch lbs.).
