HINGE

REMOVAL

1. Remove hood.
2. Disconnect hood latch release cable from hood latch on hinge that must be removed.

3. Remove bolts attaching hood hinge to upper frame rail (Fig. 2) and (Fig. 3).
4. Remove bolts attaching spring support arm to hood hinge.
5. Remove hood hinge from vehicle.

INSTALLATION

1. Position hood hinge to vehicle.
2. Install bolts attaching spring support arm to hood hinge.
3. Install bolts attaching hood hinge to upper frame rail.
4. Connect hood latch release cable to hood latch on hinge.
5. Install hood.
6. Verify hood operation. Adjust as necessary.
