SYMPTOM
SPEED PRO STEERING SOLENOID CKT OPEN/SHORTED TO GROUND

WHEN MONITORED
With ignition ON.

SET CONDITION
BCM detects no current flowing through the Speed Pro Steering solenoid when it attempts to drive it.

POSSIBLE CAUSES
- Speed Pro steering solenoid (-) circuit open
- Speed Pro steering solenoid (-) circuit short ground
- Speed Pro steering solenoid (+) circuit open
- Speed Pro steering solenoid (+) circuit short ground
- Speed Pro steering solenoid (+) circuit short to (-) circuit
- Open/shorted speed pro steering solenoid
- Speed proportional steering check open/short
- Body control module
