Wiper Motor: Service and Repair
REMOVAL1. Open hood assembly.
Wiper Arm Removal:
2. Remove windshield wiper arms.
Cowl Trim Panel:
3. Remove cowl trim panel.
4. Remove hoses from hose connectors.
Wiper Motor:
5. Remove three motor mounting screws.
6. Disconnect motor wiring connector.
7. Remove motor cover and motor.
INSTALLATION
For installation reverse the above procedures. Tighten motor mounting nuts 7 to 8 Nm (60 to 70 in. lbs.) torque. Before installing the wiper arm and blade, turn wiper motors ON, then turn wiper switch OFF so that the wiper motors will stop in the park position. Refer to Wiper Arm Adjustment for proper alignment.
