Fuel Tank Draining

1. Release fuel system pressure. Refer to Fuel Pressure Release Procedure.
2. Remove the windshield wipers and the cowl panel.

3. Disconnect the fuel disconnect line at the dash-panel (Fig. 20).
4. Connect fuel pressure tester adapter number #6539 to the fuel supply hose. Connect the other end to an approved gasoline container.
5. Energize the fuel pump relay with the DRB. Drain fuel from fuel tank into siphoning tank. Refer to the siphoning tank Manufacturer's Instructions.
6. Connect the fuel supply line back to the body fuel line at the dash-panel.
