Leak Detection Pump Replacement

REMOVAL
1. Raise vehicle and support.
2. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
3. Remove right rear wheel.

4. Remove the access panel in the rear of the wheel well.

5. Push locking tab on electrical connector to unlock and remove connector.
6. Disconnect lines from LDP.
7. Remove the EVAP canister, refer to the EVAP canister

8. Remove the three screws from the pump.

INSTALLATION
1. Install pump to bracket and tighten screws to 1.2 Nm (10.6 in. lbs.).
2. Before installing hoses to LDP, make sure they are not cracked or split. If a hose leaks, it will cause the Check Engine Lamp to illuminate. Connect lines to the LDP.
3. Install electrical connector to pump and push locking tab to lock.
4. Install the EVAP canister, refer to the EVAP canister
5. Install the access panel in the rear of the wheel well.
6. Install right rear wheel.
7. Connect the negative battery cable.
8. Lower vehicle
9. Use the DRBIII(R) scan tool, verify proper operation of LDP.
