Removal and Replacement

REMOVAL
1. Make sure ignition switch is in OFF position and all accessories are OFF.
2. The battery is located behind the left rear wheel well splash shield. Remove left rear tire and wheel.
3. Remove the seven screws attaching the rear wheel splash shield.
4. Disconnect battery cables from the battery terminals. Remove battery negative cable first.

Battery Hold-Down/Tray:

5. Remove battery hold down clamp and remove battery from vehicle.

INSTALLATION
For installation, reverse the above procedures.
- Install POSITIVE cable first.
- Install splash shield and wheel. Tighten wheel to the proper torque.
