Throttle Cable Adjustment

Fig. 6 Accelerator Pedal Stop Plate:

1. Place a 0.039 (1.0 mm) shim on the accelerator pedal down stop located at the floor mounting of the accelerator pedal. (Fig. 6).
2. Depress the accelerator pedal to the shim plate or full throttle.
3. Loosen the adjustable throttle cable bracket, on intake manifold, and move fore and aft until full wide open throttle is achieved on the throttle bodies.
4. Tighten throttle cable bracket bolts to 10.7 Nm (95 in. lbs.).
