Fuel Pump Pickup Filter: Description and Operation

The fuel delivery system contains an in-tank lifetime fuel filter. The fuel filter is part of the fuel pump module. The fuel filter is designed to last for the life of the vehicle. No maintenance is required of the fuel filter.
