Brake Lamp: Service and Repair

REMOVAL
1. Remove trunk lining as necessary to gain access to the trunk pan behind the tail lamp.
2. Remove plugs covering the access holes in the trunk pan for the tail lamp.
3. Remove plastic seal nuts holding the tail lamp to the tail lamp closure panel through the access holes.

CAUTION: Do not drop the plastic seal nuts between the tail lamp closure panel and the trunk pan or the tail lamp closure panel will need to be removed.

Tail and Stop Lamp:




4. Separate the tail lamp from the tail lamp closure panel.
5. Remove lamp sockets from the tail lamp.
6. Separate the tail lamp from the vehicle.

INSTALLATION
1. Position the tail lamp to the vehicle.
2. Install the lamp sockets in the tail lamp.
3. Position the tail lamp in the tail lamp closure panel.
4. Install plastic seal nuts to hold the tail lamp to the tail lamp closure panel through the access holes.
5. Install the plugs to cover the access holes in the trunk pan for the tail lamp.
6. Install the trunk lining.
