Hood Sensor/Switch (For Alarm): Service and Repair

The Hood Ajar Switch is located near the right (passenger side) hood latch, near the right headlamp.

REMOVAL
1. Disconnect and isolate negative battery cable.
2. Open hood.
3. Disconnect the switch wire connector.




4. Gently pull up while rocking the switch from the mounting bracket.
5. Remove switch from vehicle.

INSTALLATION
For installation reverse the above procedures.
