HINGE SPRING SUPPORT

REMOVAL

1. Release hood latch and open hood.
2. Support rear of hood with a suitable prop device.

3. Remove bolts attaching hood hinge spring support to hood hinge (Fig. 4).
4. Remove bolts attaching hood hinge spring support to frame rail.
5. Remove spring support assembly from vehicle.

INSTALLATION

1. Position spring support assembly to vehicle.
2. Install bolts attaching hood hinge spring support to frame rail.
3. Install bolts attaching hood hinge spring support to hood hinge.
