Front Door Weatherstrip: Service and Repair
DOOR OPENING WEATHERSTRIPREMOVAL
1. Open door.
2. Disengage push pin fastener at base of windshield attaching door opening weatherstrip to A-pillar.

3. Pull weatherstrip from flange along door sill, B-pillar, and lower portion of A-pillar (Fig. 1), or (Fig.2).
4. Pull weatherstrip from weatherstrip retainers along roof and windshield portion of A-pillar.
5. Remove weatherstrip from vehicle.
INSTALLATION
1. Align push pin fastener in weatherstrip to mating hole in A-pillar at base of windshield.
2. Starting at push pin fastener location, push weatherstrip into weatherstrip retainers windshield portion.
3. If necessary, apply adhesive to back of weatherstrip attaching weatherstrip to flange along lower portion of A-pillar, door sill, and B-pillar.
4. Push weatherstrip onto flange along door sill, B-pillar, and lower portion of A-pillar.
