Tachometer: Description and Operation

TACHOMETER - PCM OUTPUT
The PCM operates the tachometer on the instrument panel. The PCM calculates engine rpm from the Crankshaft Position Sensor input. The PCM sends the information to the instrument cluster across the PCI bus.
