Located on the left side of the aluminum tail housing is a cast pad. The pad has the vehicle identification number stamped on it. This number should match the vehicle identification number located on the dash pad.

A bar code tag is also located on the left side of the transmission case. These numbers should be used when ordering parts for this transmission.

On the right side of the tail housing there is a Viper emblem. It is cast directly into the aluminum tail housing.
