Exhaust Manifolds

REMOVAL

Exhaust Manifold And Heat Shield:

1. Remove manifold heat shield from exhaust manifolds.
2. Raise vehicle. Loosen and remove V-Band clamp from exhaust pipe to exhaust manifold connection.

Oxygen Sensor Electrical Connection:

3. Disconnect oxygen sensor electrical connector.
4. Remove bolts attaching manifold to cylinder head and remove manifold.

INSTALLATION

1. Install new gasket and install exhaust manifold. Tighten attaching fasteners to 23 Nm (200 inch lbs.).
2. Connect exhaust pipe to manifold and install NEW V-Band clamp. Tighten clamp to 11 Nm (100 inch lbs.).
3. Connect oxygen sensor electrical connector.
4. Install heat shields and tighten attaching fasteners to 6 Nm (50 inch lbs.).
