Radiator Cooling Fan Motor: Service and Repair

FAN MODULE

REMOVAL

Air Cleaner Assembly:

1. Remove the air cleaner assembly.
2. Disconnect the electrical connector from the motor.

Fan Shroud To Radiator Fasteners:

3. Remove the fan shroud assembly fasteners. Remove the shroud assembly from radiator.

INSTALLATION

1. Install the fan shroud assembly to radiator. Install the retaining nuts. Tighten nuts to 6 Nm (50 inch lbs.).
2. Connect the fan motor electrical connector.
3. Install the air cleaner assembly.
