Wiper Arm: Adjustments

WIPER ARM ALIGNMENT

The wiper arms/blades overlap. The driver's arm/blade must be above the passenger arm/blade in the park position.
1. Put the wiper motor into the PARK position.

Windshield Wiper Arm Adjustment:

2. The blades should be in the blackout area. The passenger blade should be approximately 22 mm (7/8 inch) from top edge of the cowl trim panel to the center pivot point of the blade. The driver's blade should be approximately 40 mm (1 9/16 inch) from top edge of the cowl trim panel to the center pivot point of the blade.
3. The passenger's blade should not touch the cowl trim panel.
4. The driver's arm/blade should not touch the passenger blade while going to the park position.
5. Operate the wipers, if the requirements are not met, check motor operation or module.
